RSS Feed Update

This post is an index of what I subscribe to.

If you've never heard of RSS before, it's one of the oldest technologies on the internet, and one of the simplest. RSS (Really Simple Syndication) lets websites publish a machine-readable feed of their newest articles. Instead of visiting dozens of websites or relying on social media to show you what they think you'll click, an RSS reader collects new posts from every source you subscribe to into one chronological reading list. There are no recommendation algorithms, no engagement rankings, and no platform deciding what deserves your attention. If a publication posts something new, it appears in your reader.

I'm using RSS as a way to reduce algorithmic influence, keep a stable reading queue, and force myself to compare outlets directly instead of living inside one narrative stream. Instead of asking "What does Twitter think?" or "What did YouTube recommend?", I'm asking "What did the publications I intentionally chose have to say today?"

The tags describe why a source exists in my reader rather than simply what it covers. Most feeds wear multiple tags because they serve multiple purposes: some break news, others provide analysis, some are party publications, and others are simply useful tools or cultural resources.

The feed itself is never finished. Publications come and go. Some stop producing useful work, others emerge, and my interests change over time. Treat this page as a living document rather than a definitive reading list.
